OMGEEEE PEOPLE! LOL
i have just surfed through the MOST BIMBO, AH LIAN BLOGS I HAVE EVER SEEN
it's so freaking funny!

YESTERDAY
at about late evening i went with my mum and dad to vist my GREAT, GREAT, GRANDFATHER! (my laxy brother and sister didn't wanna get out of the house AS USUAL) lol he'll be 99 this year in october ^^ when we reached the old folk's home, ALL (ok, with the exception of 1 or 2 old folks) OF THE OLD PEOPLE WERE SLEEPING!!! AT 7P.M.!!! HOW IN THE WORLD DO PEOPLE SLEEP AT 7 IN THE EVENING??? WOW MAN, I CAN'T EVEN SLEEP AT 9... anyways, we tried to wake him up by shaking him (my dad and mum did that) and i tried blasting music in his ears (lol, i thought it would help) and no, the music isn't Fall Out Boy. it's christian music, cos he isn't a christian yet, so i thought it might AWAKEN him. guess it didn't... so my mum was trying really hard to wake him up. for 15 minutes she knelt there shaking him. but he didn't budge. which was weird, cos she said when he was in the hospital he could walk up straight away. THEN my parents suspected that the dinner they ate was DRUG(ged?)! (my dad and) i weren't surprise if they did, 'cause remember, ALMOST ALL THE OLD FOLKS WERE SLEEPING and the TV WAS BLASTING MY EARS!!!

after 15 minutes of endless shaking and music, he finally woke up. he woke up, in fact, when my mum called his name. "LAO AH TOEH!" and he woke up. :)) i also learned that he speaks english and hokkien well, and he may have abit of dementia, but his eyesight is perfect. which is true cos the clock was 5-7 metres away and he could read what time it was!!! he also worked in a bank and knew alot of millionaires. lol lemme go back to his dementia... he takes some time to remember my mother but MY DAD, he can remember IMMEDIATELY. which is weird, but funny. lol my mum was like speaking to him in hokkien. here's the conversation translated to english...

MUM:ah gong, keng here (keng=my mum's name)
AH GONG: *groggily says* ah keng?
MUM:um, and ah pat...
AH GONG: *smiles with mouth wide open* AH PAT AH?

HAHA i was laughing and smiling at the background. lol and when he couldn't tell who i was (obviously he didn't know... i visit him twice a year ONLY) i got a HUGE lecture about how i need to visit and talk to him more often by my mum... =,= sorry mum, but not ALL teens like to talk to old people...

OHOH LISTEN TO THIS (especially the choir people and mr *coughcough* and miss tan) my mum suggested that we go carolling at old folks' homes at december. it doesn't seem like a bad idea... the choir can lyk, rent a bus and we'll meet SUPER early in the morning on mayb 24 Dec, and visit MOST of the old folks' homes in singapore and sing a few songs :)) IT'LL BE SO MUCH FUN AND THE CHOIR CAN BOND TGT AND WE GET CIP AND SPREAD THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT!

people, i'm saying this once. this is especially to the choir people.
oh wad the fuck, it applies to all of you.
